I’m in my bunk tonight aboard Evelyn and the wind is howling. The forecast is grim with 90 mph winds forecast which if they Arrive are well above huricane force. The noise in the over-riding factor but in addition the boat is being rocked and rolled the lazy jacks are frapping against the boom and there is a general air of unease. I’ve doubled up the mooring lines and am prepared for a lively night. I’ll let you know how I get on.
UPDATE
It all died down after I posted this last night and the night was much quieter than Friday night.
